Having brunch with family or friends during the weekend is a special treat, however, choosing where to grab that late morning bite can sometimes be challenging. That’s when having a “go to” list can be handy. I have such a list and on it is Shula’s 347 Grill. Here’s why…
Just over a week ago, I attended a Brunch at Dusk media event at the Shula’s 347 Grill located on Lenox Rd in Buckhead with members of the Atlanta Food Bloggers Society. The evening was designed to introduce their new Legendary Weekends on the Patio brunch menu which includes their “Sideline” Bloody Mary.
The signature beverage is loaded with flavor. It’s the result of a week-long “Sideline” Vodka Fusion of ingredients like bell peppers, onions, rosemary, black peppercorn, jalapenos and a few others.
Even alone the combination is quite good which makes it easy to understand why the cocktail is so popular.
On any given Legendary Weekend you can order one for yourself and have it mixed right at your table. When customized with a few of your favorite garnishes, it’s even better.
Here’s a look at the patio I mentioned earlier. This is the lovely (or handsome) spot where you can sit to enjoy your drink along with something to chew on from the menu.
I tried this cornflake crusted French Toast with strawberry and banana slices and a drizzle of syrup. Oh so so tasty. Also on my plate was the Steak and Eggs entree topped with a poached egg. Chef seasoned and grilled the steak to my liking (well done) and when it came time to dig in, I found that I could cut it with my butter knife. I’m a fan.
While I was polishing off my meal, I may or may not have been caught eye-balling my tablemate’s poached egg.
At the conclusion of our meal, our group was treated to these refreshing “little bites” of fresh fruit slices & mousse. The flavors included Strawberry, Raspberry and Kiwi. Have you ever tried a Kiwi Mousse? You must.
Now you see why Shula’s 347 Grill makes my brunch list. The restaurant is located on Lenox Rd in the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center. The “Legendary Weekends on the Patio” brunch menu is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 3pm.
Disclosure: While the dinner at Shula’s 347 Grill was complimentary, I was not compensated for this post. All opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way. You can view my full Disclosure Policy here.
