Lure is located at 1106 Crescent Ave NE. This final stop on our tour was a good place to wind down.
The outdoor seating was comfortable and the airiness of the space made me want to just sit and stay a while. But I knew I had work the next day so I accepted the gift of the limited time available to us.
The staff at Lure was great. They started us off with a light cocktail, then brought out a nice spread of Fried Catfish which I don’t ordinarily eat. Until now. But only here. Seriously.
And they treated us to Patty Melts which are available on Lure’s lunch menu. They’re delicious. The texture and flavor of the burgers was a surprise. You would expect them to be heavy but they weren’t at all.
Finally, there were a couple trays of Oysters and Farro Salad. This lighter dish was well appreciated after a night full of indulgence. I wouldn’t mind spending a little more time at Lure to explore the menu and the scene here. If you’re interested as well, you can check out their listing on OpenTable.
