You know what makes brunch one of those “looking forward to it” epic type events? I would have to say it’s the company you’re with, the food [obviously] and the vibe surrounding you. On Sunday, I sat at a table with a few of my favorite bloggers to sample Davio’s brunch menu.
Like clockwork, we arrived, took our seats and the conversations began to flow. The talks shifted almost seamlessly from one matter to the next and continued through three courses with the added element of music playing in the background.
Davio’s is stepping up its brunch game by refining their brunch music playlist. The tunes on Sunday added just the right touch of energy to our experience. It also served as a nice distraction to some of the ear blushing conversational moments shared at the table. Fortunately, we were able to bring it in just enough to polish off our meals.
Here is a sampling of the items we ordered individually:
COUNTRY-EGG FRITTATA | Sweet Sausage, Goat Cheese, Spinach, Tomatoes
BEEF TENDERLOIN | Poached Eggs, Potatoes, Popover, Hollandaise
SEARED GEORGE’S BANK SEA SCALLOPS | Pork Belly, Celery Root, Cracking Oyster Mushrooms
TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE | Braised Veal, Beef, Pork, Tomato Sauce
The specialty beverages Davio’s offers to compliment the menu are Make Your Own Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Bellinis.
Dessert was not listed on the menu. Instead, it was presented by cart and served with our choice of coffee or tea. Decisions, decisions.
This experience on a Sunday afternoon was enjoyable and much appreciated. To plan one of your own and to learn more about Davio’s,
